Amiqus acts as data controller and is responsible for ensuring the personal data you provide through your Amiqus account is processed in accordance with data protection law. If you wish to delete the personal data you've stored in the Amiqus app the process is quick and simple. If after reading this article you have any questions about your data or how it's stored you can reach out to us directly at: support@amiqus.co
Please note that deleting your Amiqus account will not affect any data held with other organisations that have sent you an Amiqus request to complete. You must contact those organisations separately if you want them to delete your data.
To delete your account please access the settings page by tapping the cog icon in the top right hand corner within the Amiqus app and select the 'Delete Account' option. You will then be presented with the following message.
You will then be presented with the following message. You will need to tick to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and saved data before you can continue.
When you tap the red 'Delete my account' button you will then be asked to input the pin you created when you set up your account.
Once you have input your pin and pressed 'Delete' your account will have then been deleted. The maximum amount of time we can retain your data after this is 28 days. When deleted your account cannot be restored and if you wish to use an Amiqus account again you will need to create a new one.
Note: You have control over the upload and deletion of your personal data from your Amiqus account. You can delete your records at any time, or contact us to request that we remove your personal data and close your account.
