During the Photo ID check, once you have submitted the photo or scan of your ID you will likely be asked to submit a photo of yourself.
This process is very simple if you have a smartphone as you will have a camera on the front of your device that you can take a ‘selfie’ with.
However, if you do not have a smartphone, please see the following ways that you could complete this part of the check:
- If you have access to a digital camera you can have someone take a photo of you and upload it to your device. You can then upload this photo to Amiqus. (Please note, if you have been asked to display a unique code, please keep the window/page open on your device as if you exit it a new code will be generated for security purposes).
- If you have a friend or neighbour etc who has a smartphone / tablet / laptop that you could borrow to complete your checks.
- If the above are not suitable, you could ask to go into the business that you are engaging with to complete the check in person with them.
