If you are using Google Chrome on an Android device, you may experience an issue when clicking the 'Take photo' button which prevents you from progressing to the next stage of the photo ID verification check.
If you experience this issue, please follow the steps below:
- Please try and unblock camera access by following the steps in this article: Change a site's camera and microphone permissions.
- If that doesn't work, please try and complete the photo ID check using an alternative internet browser. Any checks that you have already completed will be saved.
- If you experience the same issue, please try and complete the photo ID check on a different device e.g. a desktop/laptop with a webcam. If you choose to use a desktop/laptop with a webcam, you can upload the photo of your ID document onto your desktop/laptop from your mobile phone/camera and select the option of uploading an existing photo. You will then be able to upload the photo from your documents onto the Amiqus platform. The following support article explains how to do this underneath the 'Uploading the photo from your computer/laptop' subheading: Photo ID Verification: Completing a Request.
Please also ensure that you have a strong and stable internet connection.
If you have tried the above solutions but you're still unable to complete the photo ID verification check, please get in touch with your contact at the firm that sent you the verification request to complete. They will be able to advise on how they wish you to proceed.
